Because It Is Me.
President Trump is poised to attack Iran without a clear explanation of why he is doing so. It is yet another example of unbridled power. I can do it because I can. It is me. There is little argument that Iran's leaders are dangerous and unsettling in the Mideast but will the American public approve of military action without explanation? We should know by the midterms.

More Of The Same
Now they are trademarking the Trump name if an airport is renamed in his honor. There is no humility in the family and they are proud of it.

Standing Up.
He goes off the air in May, so he is using his time left to make points about free speech and cowardly lawyers. Kudos to Stephen.

Trust
Can you trust a leader who did this? And why does Trump keep playing up to him?

Sinking In
The American public, which doesn't pay that much attention to politics, is souring on President Trump and feeling that Biden was better. That's a significant turnaround a little more than a year into Trump's reign. The Republican Congress had better watch out.

Makes Sense
A Federal judge was skeptical about the Pentagon's case against Sen. Mark Kelly for speaking out. What Kelly said along with other veterans in Congress was that soldiers should not obey illegal orders. That struck a nerve and the Pentagon reacted. It made no difference that Kelly's remarks are part of a soldier's training. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was out for blood and it seems he will be denied. We'll know soon.

Shrinking
Another newspaper shrinking to irrelevance. When are newspaper owners going to realize that less news means fewer subscribers and a death spiral? If they can't afford print, there is online. The New York Times has millions of online subscribers and 570,000 print subscribers, a falling number. Some day they will shut the presses but will continue profitably on the web.

Lemonade
What do you do when lemons are sour? Squeeze them, add sugar and make lemonade. That is what President Trump has done with the Kennedy Center. Artists were cancelling appearances at the venue after Trump put his name on the building, so Trump decides that the Center is old and dilapidated and needs a two-year refurbishment. Voila! Problem solved. Another example of his low cunning.
