Odd
This is an odd concept for a TV show. Cover news that has been accessed most frequently on the internet that day. But, if everyone has already read the news, why bother? If some practitioner can figure this out, let me know.
Comments:
Well, first of all, it's on MSNBC so nobody will see it.
But I think the thing is here that they aren't looking to attract the Internet audience. Instead, they're going to use what people show they want to hear for the topic of their show. It would be almost as if they do a poll everyday to see what people want broadcast and then they broadcast it.
My question would be is the Internet audience of the same demographic as the television audience. I think b/c the Internet is so wide and diverse this shouldn't be a problem. But again, it's MSNBC. If this were the CBS Evening News or a network magazine it would be different.
