I know this rendition of what BellSouth is doing in New Orleans is biased, but it is true that BellSouth tried to stop any wiring system but its own. It acted like the monopoly that it once was. That's sad from a PR perspective. New Orleans needs help and not monopoly. BellSouth hasn't come off well at all when it could have made a greater difference and embedded itself with the survivors in the town.
