Online Public Relations Thoughts

Any institution that turns over its leadership quickly is stating to the public that it is in turmoil.  It can't settle on an executive to head the organization and repeated tries only make the situation worse.  That is the situation in which Michigan State finds itself now.  It's latest President stepped down because he could no longer work with the board. He is the third to leave in just a few years.  There is only one course for the academic institution.  Find a president who will stay for a long term and stabilize the university.  That is easier said than done.  Meanwhile, Michigan State's reputation is in jeopardy until the situation is corrected.
