That Was Quick
So, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has decided to step down after all. His own party was in revolt against him, and he was about to be forced out. But, like the survivor he is, he is not going right away. He plans to cling to power until the Conservatives find a new leader of the party. That could take a couple of months, time for him to enjoy the perks of the office and to wield power as much as he can. He could also be scheming in that time to shore up his position and maybe, just maybe, stay in office. Survivors are always looking for avenues to find their way out of difficulties. Once they have a grip on an office, they are loathe to let it go.
