Online Public Relations Thoughts

 NASA scientists reported finding microbial signs of life on Mars.  Or, maybe not.  No one can be sure until samples are brought back to earth-based labs for testing.  Unspoken is a simple fact.  Life as we know it is only on earth at this time so we had better take care of it, which we're not doing.  Not yet, anyway.  The dream of traveling to and living on Mars recedes the more we know about the barren planet.  Sure, we might get there but then we will have to come back because there is nothing sustainable there.  So too, the moon and the other planets in our solar system.  As for planets around other stars, they are so far away that we can't reach them.  This should be conclusive proof of the need for climate control and environmental action.
