Risky?
The US Navy has started escorting ships through the Strait of Hormuz to break Iran's lockdown of the waterway. How long will it be doing this and how many seagoing assets will be tied up in the process? Does the President understand that Iran will be there long after the US leaves, and if not today, then tomorrow, can shut the strait again? Naval escorts are a temporary answer to a challenge that will only be solved through negotiation. One hopes Trump understands that.
