Persuasion
Any PR person will tell you that it takes persuasion to get TV cameras to show up at an event. The news media have to be convinced there is some value to reporting the affair. President Trump is in that position now after he booted MS NOW, CNN and Politico from the White House. Normally any presidential activity is news. Trump is proving that wrong.
